Grilled asparagus with miso dressing

  1. Fine grate the garlic.
  2. Combine the white miso (or red miso) with the garlic, soya sauce, 100ml of the oil and vinegar. Add the honey to taste, if desired.
  3. Heat a griddle pan until smoking hot.
  4. Brush the asparagus with the remaining oil and grill for 1-2minutes until charred but still firm.
  5. Remove from the heat, place on a plate and spoon over the dressing.
  6. Serve immediately.
