Mustard potato bake with crispy grated potato crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6.
  2. Combine the cream, milk, finely grated garlic, mustard and finely grated Parmesan in a jug and season well with the salt and pepper.
  3. Slice 1kg of potatoes and layer them evenly in a 16cm x 24cm ovenproof dish and pour the cream mix over.
  4. Cover the dish with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Grate the remaining 200g of potatoes.
  6. Remove the foil from the dish, sprinkle the grated potato over and bake for another 30-40 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately, or while still warm.
