  1. To make the açaí layer, combine the açaí purée and 2 tbsp milk in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and pourable. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until fully dissolved and frothy. Stir in 120ml milk and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Fill two tall glasses with ice. Pour the açaí mixture into each glass to form the base layer. Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the back of a spoon to float it over the açaí layer.
  4. Serve immediately.
