Shisa nyama spiced chicken wings

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the paprika, garlic, coriander, onion, chilli and oregano.
  2. Juice the lemon and add to the spices along with the oil. Mix well.
  3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl or resealable bag. Add the paste and toss to coat. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6, or prepare a braai to medium-high heat.
  5. Arrange the wings on a tray or braai and cook for approx. 30–35 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.
