With a wide variety of tinned tomato products available from chopped, diced, sliced and pureed you can create a whole host of fabulous dishes, they’re a staple ingredient in sauces, soups, stews and chillies. They’re a great addition to the grocery cupboard. Plus, tinned tomatoes are not only less pricey than fresh, but contain more lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that becomes more effective when heated up during the tinning process.
