Fast Powerful Relief Double Action Heartburn & Indigestion Gaviscon Double Action Peppermint tablets bring long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. They get to work in two different ways: 1) Neutralizing excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort (white layer) 2) Forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest (pink layer) The tablets do not contain sugar or gluten. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

For oral use, after being thoroughly chewed. Adults and children 12 years and over, take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 12 years: should only be taken on medical advice. If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor. Do not use this product after the expiry date. Always read the label.

Do not use if you have kidney disease. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are: presently taking prescription medication or if you are on a sodium-restricted diet. Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. When using this product do not take more than 16 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours; do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Laxative effect may occur. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
