Italian born. London raised. They are chefs who grew up in Italy. The master gelatieri of Sicily taught them the importance of real ingredients and traditional slow churning techniques. But it was the London food scene that fine-tuned their flavours. Hackney Gelato was served in some of the finest restaurants long before it was sold in shops and supermarkets. Every recipe they made was a unique collaboration with top chefs, and it continues to be enjoyed in top-tier dining establishments. Today, Hackney Gelato brings small-batch, restaurant-quality gelato to homes, proudly crafted in their East London factory. Awarded 66 Great Taste stars in seven years.
