Hong Kong's favourite sauce brand Lee Kum Kee, was founded by a chef at an oyster shop in Guangdong village in Shenzhen. In 1888 after leaving a barrel of oysters to ferment, he discovered they created a delicious rich brown liquid - today's oyster sauce. The company has continued to grow over four generations and is now a worldwide famous producer.

Sugar, water, salt, caramel colour, garlic, soy flour, modified corn starch, contains less than 2% of soybeans, wheat flour, sesame oil, spices, acetic acid, xanthan gum, citric acid, and sodium benzoate added as a preservative.
