Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat and add the miso and crushed garlic.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the garlic is just cooked.
Remove from the heat. If the mix looks split, whisk in some hot water until it comes together.
Pour into a bowl or mould and allow to set or use melted to baste vegetables, corn or grilled potatoes.
