Cold-pressing seals in the delicate flavours and aromas of extra virgin olive oil, which is then blended with shavings from premium-quality black truffles. The intensely earthy result is twice as strong as other oils in the Truffle Hunter range, and best used sparingly as a seasoning or marinade. Just a few drops will do the trick, as each one packs a punch.
Details
UK-based Truffle Hunter began by sourcing fresh truffles from a specialised growing region of Central Italy, but has since ranged further afield to hunt high-quality varieties in Spain, France, New Zealand, and even at home in Britain. Each specimen is sterilised by heat-treating before use in the brand's premium truffle oils and sauces.
Preparation Guidelines
Recommended for use as a finishing oil to dress dishes before serving, or drizzling on pasta, pizza and risotto.
