Galbani Mozzarella di Bufala is a fresh mozzarella made with buffalo milk, for a more distinctive and authentic flavour. Ideal as a tasty main meal, or as an ingredient in hot or cold dishes, Buffalo Mozzarella (Mozzarella di Bufala) is an Italian pasta filata cheese made from the milk of the water buffalo from selected provinces of Southern Italy. It’s the perfect ingredient for traditional Mediterranean dishes including pizza, pasta and “insalata caprese” - a delicious salad of tomatoes, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Cheeses come in eight varieties including blue, hard, pasta filata, processed, semi-hard, semi-soft, soft and fresh, and soft-ripened. It is a staple in most homes and can be sliced in sandwiches, melted on tasty pizzas, dolloped generously in salads or simply cut directly from the block as a snack. It forms by coagulation of the milk protein casein.
