Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the finely chopped onions, celery and the 3 crushed garlic cloves for 5 minutes over a low heat until softened.
Stir in the spices and tomato purée with the cooked beans, cherry tomatoes, lemon zest and juice.
Remove from the heat and stir in the herbs.
